ABOUT
This crazy idea brings many of the negative elements of real world shopping to the online experience.
😳 Why on earth would anybody do that!
In a humorous way I hope it makes a little point and highlights some ”1st world problems“

The High Street is Dead
It's all too easy to be negative and highlight what is often a miserable state of affairs regarding our British town centres.
A visit can more-often-than-not be thoroughly depressing.
The High Street is Dead. Long live the High Street
You could just view the current state as an example of how everything evolves and moves on. It's in flux!
I have a few ideas on how to improve town centres and High Streets but am very interested to hear YOUR ideas and thoughts on the state of the High Street. Hence, the platform.
The title is a nod to the well known phrase
“The King is Dead, Long live the King”.
Origin:
The phrase is believed to have first been used when Charles VII ascended to the French throne after the death of his father, Charles VI, in 1422.
Meaning:
"Le roi est mort" announces the death of the king, while "vive le roi" proclaims the new king who immediately takes his place.
English usage:
Due to French being the primary language of the nobility in England at the time, the phrase was adopted into English and used to represent the same concept of seamless succession in the monarchy.
